After a march through the heart of London from the US Embassy at Grovsenor Sq, the Coalition Against the War protest ended up at Trafalgar Square. There, talks were given by notables including Tony Benn.
- Get the troops out of Iraq & Afghanistan
- End the siege of Gaza – free Palestine
- Create jobs not bombs
- Stop arming Israel
- Abolish all nukes
There was absolutely no violence. Though you wouldn’t have thought it, given the media’s hyped up reporting.
